Taurus 856 Upgrades

RevolverGuy readers will recall that I had a favorable opinion of the Taurus Model 856 Executive Grade revolver when I reviewed it back in October of last year, but felt the gun could stand some upgrades in critical areas like the grips, sights, and trigger. The gun had good bones, but needed a little bit of help to reach its full potential. Continue reading “Taurus 856 Upgrades”

Using Taurus Model 85 Boot Grips On J-Frames

The search for a good set of J-frame stocks seems like a never-ending journey, and sometimes it leads to some pretty creative solutions. I was really looking forward to linking up with all my industry friends, and seeing what the manufacturers had up their sleeves for us RevolverGuys this year. Review: Taurus 942 .22 LR Revolver

I don’t think I’ve made it any secret, but I am no fan of the .22 Long Rifle.  It’s just generally not my cup of tea. Nothing against you if it’s yours, but it has never really blown my skirt up. Though the Ruger Wrangler has found a place in my collection, I remain sort of generally unimpressed with the .22 Long Rifle. Continue reading “Review: Taurus 942 .22 LR Revolver”
