The Trials and Tribulations of the RevolverGuy

Like most of you, I anxiously await Mike’s posts. He writes better than me, knows more than I do, and despite being an officer (forgive me, John Basilone) is smarter than me. So naturally I look forward to seeing what comes out of his head and onto the screen. And, like most of you I … Continue reading “The Trials and Tribulations of the RevolverGuy”

Wadcutters For Self Defense

I admit it, I’m a bullet nerd. I’ve always been fascinated by ballistics, and particularly terminal ballistics. I enjoy learning about how bullets do their work, and studying the minutiae of expansion, penetration, retained weight, permanent and temporary cavities, testing protocols, and all the numerical measures of bullet performance.

The Ruger Wrangler: Justin’s First .22!

Do you guys like IPAs? As a heavily tattooed, bearded, self-proclaimed beer guy I should probably appreciate the bright, piney hoppiness of a good IPA. But I don’t. Can’t. Precision Holsters Tactical Concealed Carry Nylon Belt

When I find something I really like – something like a knife, watch, wallet, or belt  – I can get pretty resistant to change. When something like this comes along that really works, I will use it until it just won’t work anymore. Once up on a time I found a belt that works for … Continue reading “Precision Holsters Tactical Concealed Carry Nylon Belt”

Harry’s Holsters’ Icon Revolver Holster

Though (as you guys know) I’m carrying a slab-sided bottom feeder on a daily basis, I haven’t completely ditched my J-Frame. The  640 Pro gets pulled for those times when I must be 100% positive that my gun concealed. The holster it has been riding in is one I’ve yet to mention here: the Harry’s … Continue reading “Harry’s Holsters’ Icon Revolver Holster”
